Garnet sand is an eco-friendly, high-performance industrial abrasive. With a Mohs hardness of 7.5–8 and containing no free silica, it generates significantly less dust than silica sand or copper slag, offering superior safety; it is a mainstream consumable in the global surface treatment industry. However, conventional garnet sand on the market often suffers from issues such as high silt content, impurities, inconsistent particle sizes, and batch-to-batch quality fluctuations. These problems directly compromise cutting and blasting performance while increasing equipment wear and consumable costs.

The newly launched garnet sand is derived from premium almandine (iron-aluminum garnet) ore. It undergoes multi-stage water washing for desliming, magnetic separation for iron removal, and automated precision screening. Key product advantages include:

High Purity and Low Dust: Multiple magnetic separation stages remove mica and iron impurities, while thorough water washing eliminates silt, resulting in low operational dust and reduced wear on piping and equipment. It is free of silica, complies with overseas REACH environmental regulations, and ensures operator safety.

2. Comprehensive Particle Size Specifications: Stock is available across the full 20#–120# mesh range. 60-mesh and 80-mesh grades are suitable for waterjet cutting, while 20–40 mesh and 30–60 mesh grades are used for abrasive blasting and rust removal; custom particle sizes are also available upon request.

3. Superior Operational Performance: The particles feature sharp edges and hardness levels optimized for industrial applications. Waterjet cutting yields smooth surfaces with minimal burrs. Abrasive blasting achieves Sa2.5–Sa3 cleanliness grades with minimal particle embedding in the workpiece, effectively enhancing the adhesion of subsequent coatings.

Recyclable for Lower Total Costs: The particles possess high toughness and resist shattering, allowing for multiple recovery and reuse cycles in blasting operations; this reduces consumable usage and helps control overall project costs. 5. Stable, high-volume supply: Inspection reports are provided for every batch; packaging options include 25kg bags and bulk bags (tote bags).
