All glass sand undergoes a wet-grinding passivation process; sharp edges and corners are rounded off. There are no sharp edges to scratch fish tank glass or resin containers, and they are safe for children to touch without risk of injury.

Will the color fade if exposed to rain or intense sunlight outdoors? Will soaking in water cause discoloration or pollute the water quality?
We use a high-temperature melt-dyeing process where the color is infused into the glass itself, rather than being a surface spray coating. The color will not fade from outdoor sun exposure or prolonged immersion in water, nor will it stain the water; it is completely safe for use in aquariums and water features.
