These "pea gravel" are crafted from natural river stones through a process of multi-stage washing, grading, and water-polishing. Naturally shaped by years of river currents, each stone is smooth and rounded with no sharp edges; they will not scratch fish, shrimp, or plant roots, and are safe to handle by hand. The stones feature the inherent colors of natural minerals—without artificial paint or dye coatings—ensuring they do not fade or leach color when submerged in water or exposed to outdoor elements, thereby preventing water or soil contamination. With stable physical and chemical properties, these natural river stones do not significantly alter pH levels and contain no toxic substances, making them safe for freshwater aquariums, edible plant cultivation, and outdoor landscaping. The stone material is dense, hard, wear-resistant, and durable; it resists crumbling or fracturing over time and can be washed and reused for years. Thoroughly washed to remove silt and dust before shipping, the stones require only a quick rinse before use. We offer three standard sizes to suit various needs: 3–6mm fine-grain stones are ideal for potting soil top-dressing, resin crafting, and underfloor heating backfill; 6–12mm medium-grain stones are suitable for aquarium substrates, rainforest terrarium landscaping, and drainage layers in flowerpots.
